Lastovo is the youngest park of nature in Croatia, it was a military zone in time of Yugoslavia and the access was forbidden. It makes Lastovo one of the ten edens in the Mediterranean included on the list of the prestigious World Wildlife Fund.

Beaches on Lastovo are mainly rocky, without intervention or alternation from the original state. There are 46 islands that surround Lastovo and this makes the area in South Dalmatia ideal for a peaceful vacation. 

Visit romantic coves such as Zaklopatica and Skrivena Luka (Portorus) on Lastovo and a small island nearby Saplun, where you can find beautiful sand beaches.
