PELJEŠAC

Pelješac peninsula is halfway in the south between two Adriatic pearls, Split and Dubrovnik. It enjoys a splendid Mediterranean climate, which makes it an ideal site for vineyards and wine making.

Pelješac is also famous for its salt pans, which many depended on for centuries, including Dubrovnik and its celebrated Republic.

An ancient defensive rampart – the second biggest wall in the world completes the trilogy of Pelješac symbols. The natives like to call their peninsula “nature in its primeval form.”

Among the numerous fish, crab and shellfish species, a special praise is reserved for the oysters. Mali ston village is notable for growing and preparing this delicacy which is, apart from its extraordinary flavor and nutritive values, believed to have aphrodisiac qualities.

Pelješac offers you natural beauty and an excellent cuisine.
